Voting is underway for the first ever British Poker Awards which take place in September.

The 'BAFTAS' of poker will feature gongs for best tournament, cash and online players as well best contribution to British poker, best card room, best poker forum and best poker league.

And with star names such as Anthony Holden, Victoria Coren, Neil Channing and Pokerjolt's own JP Kelly nominated for awards it's bound to be a riotous night.

The ceremony will be held at London's brand new Fox Poker Club on September 13 and is supported by PKR, as well as Bluff Europe Magazine, Poker Europa Magazine and PokerNews.com.

The Shaftesbury Avenue venue, which opens its doors this Saturday, is aiming to be the capital's finest poker venue and is the first to open right in the heart of the West End.
