DANIEL Negreanu has never exactly been 'normal' – but Kid Poker has really lost the plot since the World Series ended last week.

The 35-year-old, who lives in Las Vegas, claims he has been “struggling mightily” with a WSOP hangover and didn't managed to leave his couch for nine days after the action dried up at the Rio.

His daytime TV marathon finally ended on Wednesday, when the Canadian dragged himself to a nearby golf course. But a disastrous round left him even more depressed, so he plumped for a night on the town with his close friend 'Lex'.

Bad idea. At 6.30am his 53,000 Twitter followers were awoken by a bizarre message from the four-time WSOP bracelet winner stating that he'd “just seen a guy yank a ho” in a club and that it was “deserved”.

Negreanu, who cashed five times in the 2010 WSOP, then went radio silent. But his legion of fans didn't have to wait long for the full story.

Writing on his Full Contact blog, Kid Poker spilled the beans.

“We had these three women in a booth next to us and they appeared to be drunk and obnoxious as well as extremely rude,” he explained.

“I didn't talk to them at all, but one of Lex's friends was. They started to get belligerent throwing stuff at us, and ultimately one of them spilled a drink on Lex's friend.

“He walked over to her and asked what the heck she thinks she's doing, and she got all crazy saying, "Do you know who I am? I'm freaking rich and I'm staying in a villa here. I'll freaking kill you!" Then she kicked him in the chest with her heels on.

“Now, normally I'm not a fan of violence or beating on a woman, but what he did makes me laugh even thinking about it now. It was epic.

“With her heel still by his chest, he pulled on her leg like a lawnmower cord and essentially dragged her on the floor and she skidded on the carpet for about 12 feet!

“HAHA, you just had to be there I guess, but as I'm typing this my laptop is shaking from my belly laughs. This chick totally deserved it.”

Well, quite.

Say what you like about Negreanu, but he just doesn't do dull.
