Tom Dwan has made it through to Day 2 of the Aussie Millions Main Event.
Online ace durrrr is making his live comeback at the $10,600 tourney, as exclusively revealed by Pokerjolt last week.
And despite the 25-year-old being knocked out of the $100,000 Challenge on Sunday, Dwan progressed in the Main Event with a very respectable pile of 107,400 chips.
Other big names among the 92 to make it safely through on Day 1b at the Crown Melbourne were past champions Stewart Scott and Tyron Krost, who finished 38,400 and with 56,400 respectively. David Bach, Annette Obrestad and Kenna James also made it through to Wednesday.
James Dempsey was the Day 1b chip leader with 189,000 but remains a whopping 72,000 chips behind local hero Brett Watson, who finished Day 1a with 257,400.
Dwan had endured a very slow start but his luck changed in the final session when Ryan Hong moved all-in with A♣,Q♠ and durrrr went to war with just 4♦, 4♣ in the locker. Thankfully for him, the board ran out 7♥, 3♠, 9♠, 5♥, J♣ and he doubled up to more than 80,000.
Mel Judah, Tom Koral, Jamie Pickering, Marvin Rettenmaier, and Simon Watt weren't so lucky and joined the likes of Patrik Antonius from Day1a in hitting the rail.
Day 1c of the Aussie Millions takes place today.
