FULL TILT players won't get any money back from the frozen poker website until September at the earliest.
The poker behemoth has been shut to US players since 'Black Friday' - April 15 - and to those in the UK since June 29, when the Alderney Gambling Control Commission suspended its licenses.
But the AGCC's decision to postpone this week's hearing into the company's business activities means players face at least a two month wait to find out if they will get all, or some, of their money back.
An industry insider close to the negotiations told Pokerjolt: "The AGCC are looking for a practicable solution which is in the best interests of the players.
"Several of the large, licensed European gambling groups have made enquiries as to the viability of buying Full Tilt, or at least acquiring its player database.
"In the longer term, that could be good news players - especially in Europe.
"The most likely outcome is that a big European player buys Full Tilt's UK, Irish and French licenses and reactivates player accounts in those markets.
"For the US, because of the extremely confused regulatory picture, the situation is much less clear."
Pokerjolt understands that three large poker operators - 888, Bodog and bwin.Party Digital Entertainment - have already expressed interest in acquiring Full Tilt's European businesses.
Nearly $150million is currently frozen in Full Tilt player accounts around the world.
The company has been widely criticised for failing to keep players informed throughout the crisis.
