The cast for the new series of Dancing With The Stars was announced yesterday - but Poker Brat Phil Hellmuth did not make the final cut.
The 46-year-old was widely rumoured to be taking to the dance floor for Season 12 of the hit show.
He even Tweeted recently: "OMG! Phil Hellmuth (me!) on Dancing with the Stars! Outrageous! Might make a fool out of myself on Worldwide Television one more time…”
But when the cast was announced for the ABC show - the US version of British hit Strictly Come Dancing - poker players everywhere were left disappointed as Hellmuth was nowhere to be seen, fuelling rumours the 11-time WSOP bracelet winner had, characteristically, been winding up his fans all along.
The celebs that did make it boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, Petra Nemcova, Ralph Macchio, Kirstie Alley; Hines Ward, Chris Jericho, Mike Catherwood, Romeo, Chelsea Kane, Wendy Williams and reality TV star and former Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkinson, 25.
Season 12 of Dancing With the Stars premieres on ABC on March 21 and will run until May 23.
