Phil Hellmuth is officially the most hated poker player on the planet.
The 46-year-old Poker Brat has topped a poll for the "player you would most want to kill".
Hellmuth, who has 11 World Series of Poker Bracelets, is renowned for his stroppy temperament and caused a storm at the WSOPE in London last month when he arrived on a double-decker bus blaring out 'Poker Face' surrounded by models dressed as Lady Gaga.
Second in the poll, commissioned by poker legend Doyle Brunson, was the man who recruited Hellmuth to UltimateBet, 1994 World Series of Poker Champion Russ Hamilton.
Hamilton was the man behind the biggest scandal in the history of online gambling - the defrauding of UltimateBet players to the tune of $22,100,000 through the use of software that allowed access to opponents' hole cards.
Third was Lithuanian-born Aussie Tony G - real name Antanas Guoga - another mouthy aggressive player who commentator Gabe Kaplan once quipped could single-handedly reignite the Cold War.
It wasn't all doom and gloom though.
The poll also found that Phil 'The Unabomber' Laak was the poker player people most wanted "to hang out with".
The Irish-born 38-year-old, who recently won his first WSOP bracelt, is a popular figure on the pro circuit and has famously donated winnings to childrens' charities.
Fun-loving Canadians Gavin Smith Daniel Negreanu were also rated as popular players in the highly unscientific survey.![]()
