A teenager who can't even drive has won a £150,000 Aston Martin DB9 Coupe in a poker tournament.

Marek Sosnowski has only been playing for a year and just left high school a few months ago.

But when the 19-year-old entered a PartyPoker freeroll to try and improve his game online...he ended up winning it!

Marek, from Krakow, Poland, landed the motor after trouncing his rivals at October’s ‘Drive the Dream’ live final in London.

He said: "The thing is I don’t even have a driver’s licence yet so I am now in a hurry to get one.

"I'm actually a bit worried because the insurance payments will be high.

"I have only been playing poker for about a year but have been studying the game in depth.

"This strategic approach has helped me get better and better. This is a life changer for me.”

Marek says he plans to become a map writer for a living - but the cartography will have to wait as he builds his new poker career.

He added: "Everyone dreams about success in a big online multi-table tournament but to be honest I love to play cash games and I am better in cash games."

Tens of thousands of amateur poker players entered PartyPoker's Drive the Dream competition, with the top nine making the London final and winning prizes.
